Will my high-end appliance be fixed on the first visit?
For common faults, usually yes. Our technicians repair Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking and Thermador appliances every day, so they know each brand's typical failure points. They diagnose the actual fault instead of swapping parts until something works. If a model-specific part has to be ordered, you will hear the part, the price and the timeline during the visit.
Do you use original parts, and what warranty comes with the repair?
We use OEM parts whenever they are available. Thermador, Miele and GE Monogram appliances rely on model-specific control boards, sensors and valves, and a non-original part is a common reason for a repeat failure. Every repair comes with up to a 1-year warranty on original parts and 6 months on labor.
Is it worth repairing a built-in appliance, or should I replace it?
Often the repair wins, and by a wide margin. Replacing a built-in means more than the price of the new unit: cutout dimensions, custom panels, water and electrical connections, sometimes cabinet modifications. A Sub-Zero, Wolf or built-in Viking, Thermador and KitchenAid is usually worth repairing long after a mid-range unit would not be. After the diagnosis you get a clear quote and an honest recommendation. The diagnostic fee is waived if you go ahead with the repair, and if the numbers favor replacement, we will say so.
