If your dishwasher won’t drain, is leaking on the floor, leaving dishes dirty, or showing an error code — you’re in the right place.
Premium built-in and panel-ready dishwashers use proprietary wash systems, custom door mechanisms, and brand-specific electronics that standard technicians rarely encounter. Getting it wrong means water damage to custom cabinetry, a voided warranty, or a $2,000–$4,000 appliance that still doesn’t clean.
Most premium dishwashers in Orange County kitchens are fully integrated or panel-ready — installed flush with custom cabinetry, with panels that match the surrounding millwork exactly. A technician who doesn’t know how to remove and reinstall a custom panel correctly can cause more damage to the kitchen in ten minutes than the dishwasher fault itself.
Types of Dishwashers We Repair
Fully integrated dishwashers — Custom cabinetry panel covers the entire front; controls on the top edge of the door. Service requires removing the unit from its cabinet slot without damaging the custom panel or adjacent cabinetry.
Semi-integrated dishwashers — Custom panel on the door with a visible control strip along the top. Service access similar to fully integrated, but the control panel is easier to diagnose in place.
Panel-ready dishwashers — Any dishwasher designed to accept a custom cabinetry panel. Key service consideration: panels are custom-made, match the kitchen millwork, and are expensive to replace if damaged. Panel removal and reinstallation is part of the job.
Drawer dishwashers — Pull-out drawer units, one or two stacked, installed under the counter. Each drawer has its own pump, motor, and control board. Common service points: drawer slide mechanisms, door latch assemblies, and drain pumps.
Standard built-in dishwashers — Traditional front-loaders with a manufacturer front panel. Share most internal components with integrated models — simpler access because there’s no custom panel to manage.
Compact and ADA-compliant dishwashers — 18-inch and ADA-height models for smaller kitchens, bar areas, or accessibility requirements. Same internal components as full-size models in a tighter footprint — spray arm, pump, and motor service is more demanding.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my Bosch or Thermador dishwasher not draining?
A Bosch or Thermador dishwasher that won't drain and shows an E24 or E25 error code usually has a clogged drain filter, a blocked drain hose, or a failing drain pump motor. Both brands use the same BSH platform, so the E-code system and internal drain path are similar. We diagnose which component actually failed rather than replacing the entire pump assembly when only the filter or hose needs clearing.
Why is my dishwasher leaking water on the floor?
Water on the floor under a dishwasher most commonly traces to a failed door seal, a cracked spray arm, a loose drain hose clamp, or an activated flood protection system (AquaStop on Bosch, Waterproof System on Miele). On panel-ready units, even a small leak can damage surrounding cabinetry and flooring before it becomes visible — which is why we recommend addressing leaks immediately.
What does error code E15 mean on my Bosch dishwasher?
E15 on a Bosch or Thermador dishwasher means the flood protection system has detected water in the base pan. This can be caused by a leaking internal hose, a failed pump seal, a cracked sump, or a spray arm that has come loose. The base pan needs to be inspected and dried, the leak source repaired, and the float switch reset. Simply tilting the unit to drain the pan — a common DIY suggestion — does not fix the underlying leak.
Why are my dishes still dirty after a full cycle?
Dishes that come out dirty, spotty, or greasy usually point to a clogged spray arm, a worn wash pump impeller, low water temperature, a failed heating element, or a hard water deposit buildup in the spray arm nozzles. On Miele dishwashers with AutoDos, a malfunctioning automatic detergent dispenser can also cause poor wash performance. Hard water is common in Orange County and accelerates spray arm clogging.
Can a built-in panel-ready dishwasher be repaired without removing it from the cabinet?
Many repairs — door latch, control board, detergent dispenser, spray arm — can be done with the unit in place by accessing components through the open door. Repairs that require access to the base (drain pump, circulation pump, flood protection switch, water inlet valve) typically require sliding the unit out of its cabinet slot, which means disconnecting water, drain, and electrical, and carefully managing the custom panel. We handle this routinely.
What is CrystalDry on a Bosch dishwasher, and can it be repaired?
CrystalDry is a drying technology exclusive to Bosch (and Thermador as StarDry). It uses a zeolite mineral that absorbs moisture from the wash cavity and converts it to heat, which is then circulated back to dry the dishes. When CrystalDry stops working, the cause is usually a failed zeolite heating element or a malfunctioning fan that circulates the heated air. Both are replaceable components.
How long does a dishwasher repair usually take?
Most dishwasher repairs are completed during the first visit when the failed part is something we carry on the truck — drain pumps, door latches, inlet valves, common control boards. Repairs that require ordering a specific OEM part for a Miele, Bosch, or Thermador model take longer. We tell you the timeline upfront after diagnosis.
Is the diagnostic fee waived if I approve the repair?
Yes. We charge a diagnostic fee for the technician's visit and inspection. When you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is waived — your service call costs nothing on a completed job. See our current promotions for details on waived diagnostic fees and other active offers.
