My Dacor range has a touchscreen. Does that make it harder to repair?
Not necessarily. The LCD control stores a fault log that often points straight to the failed component, which shortens diagnosis. What it does require is a technician who knows how to read that log and test the display, power and relay boards separately, because replacing the whole control assembly when only one board has failed is an expensive guess.
Why is my Dacor column refrigerator running but not getting cold?
A column that hums but will not pull down usually has a defrost fault that let frost block the evaporator, a failed evaporator fan, a dirty condenser or a sealed-system issue. Because each symptom leads to a different repair, we test airflow and the defrost circuit before touching the compressor.
Is a Dacor oven that bakes unevenly a convection problem?
