Common high-end stovetop issues solved
Repeated clicking with no flame at one or more burners.
Low output, yellow tips, or flame lifting off the burner ports.
Burner lights while pressed, then dies when the knob is released.
Igniter sparking continuously even with all burners off.
Stiff, loose, or spinning knobs with no control over flame level.
Electric or induction zone staying cold or cycling off early.
High-BTU sealed and open burner configurations with brass valves and continuous cast grates. Common across Wolf, Viking Professional, and Thermador Pro Harmony.
Enclosed burner bases designed to contain spills, with individual spark igniters at each position. Common across Bosch, KitchenAid, and Monogram.
Ceramic glass surfaces with radiant elements, bridge zones, and touch or knob controls. Common across Bosch, KitchenAid, and Miele.
Magnetic coil surfaces with power modules, cooling fans, and pan detection circuitry. Common across Miele, Thermador, and Monogram.
Wolf, Viking, and Thermador burners are built for high BTU output, which makes them sensitive to pressure, orifice sizing, and air shutter setting. We measure the gas supply and read flame characteristics rather than treating every weak burner as a dirty port.
Bosch, KitchenAid, and Monogram stoves use spark modules and flame sensing that shut gas off the moment a flame is not detected. We test the module, the electrode, and the sensing circuit together, since a burner that dies when you release the knob is a safety system doing its job, not a random fault.
Miele, Thermador, and Monogram induction surfaces run through inverter boards and dedicated cooling paths. We check module temperature, fan operation, and coil resistance before condemning an expensive board.
Stovetops depend on precisely matched igniters, valves, burner caps, and glass panels machined for the exact model. We install only original OEM components to protect your unit's performance, longevity, and warranty.

your Orange County home.
Is it safe to keep using the other burners while one is broken?
It depends on the fault. A single burner that will not ignite is usually contained to that position, but continuous sparking, a gas smell, or a burner that will not shut off means the whole stove should stay off until we look at it.
My stove keeps clicking even when no burner is on. What causes that?
It usually means the spark module is receiving a false signal, most often from moisture or spilled liquid around an electrode. Turn the burners off and call us. Leaving a module sparking continuously wears out the electrodes and the module itself.
The burner lights but goes out as soon as I let go of the knob. Is that expensive to fix?
Not necessarily. That behavior points to the flame sensing circuit, usually a dirty or failed thermocouple or a weak sensing electrode, and both are common parts. We confirm the cause during diagnosis and quote before any work begins.
Do I need to smell gas before I call?
No. Ignition faults, weak flames, and burners that will not stay lit are all worth addressing before they escalate. If you do smell gas, shut off the supply, leave the house, and call your gas utility first, then reach out to us for the repair.
My induction burner shuts off in the middle of cooking. What is happening?
The unit is usually protecting itself. Induction surfaces cut power when the module overheats, when airflow to the cooling fan is restricted, or when pan detection loses contact. We identify which trigger is firing instead of replacing the board on assumption.
How long does a stove repair usually take?
Most stovetop repairs are completed in one visit once the fault is diagnosed. Igniters, thermocouples, and burner components are common parts we carry, so the follow-up visit is typically needed only for control boards or glass panels.
My stove was converted to run on propane. Does that change the repair?
It changes the diagnosis. Converted units run different orifices and regulator settings, so a weak or yellow flame often traces back to the conversion rather than a failing part. We verify the setup before replacing anything.
